Our lives today are dependent on satellites. What do they do for us and what would life be like without them? There is a huge range of satellites in orbit around Earth; different sizes, in different orbits and with different uses. But are all satellites benign? Who owns them? Is there law in Space? In this talk Cath Blacketer will look at the history of satellites, consider today's challenges and look at both future opportunities and potential threats.
